October 9th was the two-year anniversary of this blog. The last year of this site saw ten parts of the Mike Hardy Saga, with part 11 still at large (I need some motivation). Maybe the upcoming year will contain some more posts with greater substance than the usual short drivel I update with.
It’s Talk Like a Pirate Day today. Again. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything to say. Arrr.
Be careful with those fireworks…and remember my bottle rocket comparison from last year? Nobody seemed to care then; maybe someone will care now, but I doubt it.
Thanks to the helpful instructions here and here, I now have my very own infrared webcam. Viewing the world in infrared is a bit different than visible light. Here’s some comparison shots.

So as to not seem like a total slacker.
Another trip up north, another log of wireless access points gathered. Best SSID this time: longaberger. Maybe one of these days I’ll actually drive around my own town to scope out the scene here.
Also, I feel now is a good time to share my newfound love of YouTube, where I can sit all day and watch snippets of TV without having to suffer from my Dad changing the channel every thirty seconds.
