Pretty horrid, isn&#8217;t it? Fortunately, <a href=\"http:\/\/youfailit.net\/images\/index.php?op=5&#038;path=computer&#038;file=keyafter.jpg\">this is how<\/a> it turned out after a multi-hour session involving tetrafluoroethane, isopropyl alcohol, and an old sock. Yes, I know the two pictures don&#8217;t show the exact same subject matter.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, I purchased an extremely old laptop computer (Compaq LTE Elite 4\/75C), which is currently doing its duty as a dumb terminal to my Linux machine quite well, even though I had not anticipated that being its primary function. On a related note, I fear I may have had quite a hand in the sharp increase of my parents&#8217; electric bill over the past year, rising energy costs notwithstanding.
