Perhaps some more optimisations will be done before 1.4 If you wish to use a good 3DS / DXF reader (and possibly other formats) in the future, you are welcome to send your suggestions, feedback, bugs etc .. to besset@club-internet.fr ============================================================= Special requirements: You'll need float coordinates support in all your tools : A Quake2 level editor with float coordinates A qbsp3 with float coordinates Radiant users can turn on/off float coordinates by changing the NoClamp entry to 1/0 in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\QERadiant\Radiant\Prefs The Radiant plugin setup menu will take care of setting that for you, but you can use regedit.exe to do it by hand. You can find Geoffrey DeWan's qbsp with float coordinates on rust : http://www.gamedesign.net ============================================================= Installation : See readme.txt Plugin for Radiant has been updated with 3DS / DXF reading, But it can be very slow if you are using software OpenGL.
