The CVTTHING.ZIP archive contains a kit to change wads written for
the release version of BOOM to the maintenance release 1 version of
BOOM. The only change is that the point source wind things 4001 and
4002 had to be renumbered to avoid conflict with DosDOOM's Player
Start 5 and 6 things.

Instructions:

Unzip CVTTHING.ZIP in the same directory as the wad(s) you want to
convert.

From an MS-DOS Prompt (DOS or a DOS Window in Windows) in that
directory type:

CVTTHING MYWAD

to convert MYWAD.WAD to play under the maintenance release.
