Booda (DX Othello)- A Cool Game By Mike Hardy (Asylum Studios)

Greeting's - Welcome to Booda - Booda is a Cool 2004 DirectX "3D" Othello Game. Othello is Better known as Reversi. For those who don't know Reversi (Othello) is a Cool Board Game. It consist of Checker Pieces or Tokens. The Object of the Game is a person to have the most of their tokens on the board then the other player. For a more extended list read the Help.doc file included with the program.

Booda is Single Player which means "YOU" against "THE COMPUTER"

Booda is Freeware for Now! However, I may later decide to turn it into shareware. I suggest that before you download this game you take a look at the Screen Shots. (Read Below)

You will need the Following System Requirements :

The Minimum System Requirements are as follows :

  • Intel Pentium Running 333MHz or Faster Processor,
  • Windows 95/98/NT/ME/Xp/2000/or Server 2003,
  • DirectX 7.0a or higher (DirectX 9.0b is Recommended) I have included DirectX 9.0b in the Downloads Section.),
  • DirectSound Compatable Sound Card With Speakers,
  • 3D Graphics Card (I Think!),
  • 640x480 Screen Resolution (800x600 32 BIT Color is Recommended),
  • 13 MB of Hard Disk Space for Installation and Running.

Booda Was Written & Programmed By Me (Michael J. Hardy). It has been Fully Tested By My Wife (Kara L. Hardy). (She Likes It) So I'm sure you'll Love It!

My name is Michael J. Hardy. People call me "Mike" For Short. I'm the Author of Booda. I have also written several other Game's like my Mahjongg TileSet Game called "vbMahjongg" Which is available at http://www.geocities.com/mhmahjongg I am Married to a Wonderful Woman name "Kara L. Hardy" My Wife and I have NO Children at this time but We have a little puppy dog named "Juggie" Juggie is short for "JugHead". My Wife and I live in Sullivan Missouri where are Families also Reside. We Were Married on June 21st, 2003 @ 2:30pm at the City Lake in Sullivan. I have been Programming since I was 16 years old. My Favorite Languages Are : Visual Basic, Visual C++, Dev-C++, Turbo Pascal, and I'm just now learning Delphi. I'm 27 years old and will turn 28 on December 17th, 2004 My Wife is 21 years of age and she will turn 22 on November 27th, 2004. Booda - Was Written on a Computer System Running "Windows 98", "333 MHz", "DirectX 9.0b Installed", "with DirectSound and 3D AirWave Speakers".

Also My Screen Resolution was Set at: 800x600 (32-BIT Colors). Although this game should work on any Screen Resolution...
