Here’s some crap I’m going to talk about.

I finally did my taxes yesterday (Telephilefile). My refund is going to be around $280. That’s about what it was last year. Maybe I’ll buy something with it. Speaking of buying something, on April Fool’s day I bought a new monitor. It’s nice not having to deal with the darkness and blurry text that my old one has.

I was going to mention something else. Oh yeah, this. It’s sad what people are willing to put their money towards these days. Unfortunately, it seems he’s legally in the clear on this.

Obviously, they don’t look at what they’re broadcasting very often. According to my brother, this image was being displayed all day yesterday.

So far my experience with SmoothWall Express has been quite pleasant. I installed it on my third computer in order to replace my aging and malfunctioning Linksys router. Apart from a brief brush with a network card that apparently no longer works, it’s been running quite smoothly. That computer became available because I bought a different inexpensive machine for a server/second computer. I also recently picked up a Sennheiser PC150 headset/microphone.

Here’s something possibly worth mentioning. I have just purchased IceCast server hosting at MediaCast1. Right now I’m just streaming my regular playlist, but very soon this will be used for something much bigger. The stream is located at 69.9.32.186:9230/live.ogg (and, when it finally works, radio.youfailit.net:9230/live.ogg) and can be opened in WinAmp, xmms, or any other player that supports OGG streams.

Yeah, right.
